If you sit about 40cm from a mirror in a darkened room with only a low wattage bulb behind you, then watch yourself in the mirror for several minutes, your mind will begin to play tricks and the reflection will appear to change.

This was tested on fifty people who all reported seeing an strange effect in the mirror. After ten minutes some reported seeing their own face but distorted or a face similar to a parent’s; some saw a face they did not recognize or the face of an animal or even a monster.

When it is too dark to see an image properly you mind fills in the details in the same way that you can make faces from random patterns, it is odd though what your own mind chooses to create.

Is this REALLY a UFO being chased down the M5 by RAF fighter jets? ‘Video footage’ captured at a service station

Footage of two fighter jets chasing what appears to be a UFO has emerged.

The 30-second clip, thought to be shot from a West Midlands service station park, reveals the saucer-shaped craft zipping over the M5, with the two jets in its wake.

Former Ministry of Defence UFO expert Nick Pope told The Sun: ‘This is one of the best videos I’ve seen.

Judging by the video footage I wouldn’t exactly say that the UFO was zipping over the M5 Motorway, it is hard to tell if it is moving at all, pity the camera wasn’t on a tripod.

Many are saying that it is a fake. What I would like to know is why did the video end so quickly, although I could understand it if they had my still camera which I can also use to take 30 seconds’ worth of video footage.

I tried it full-screen with no discernible effect – but well worth trying – what doesn’t work for one person might work for another. And if nothing else it is very pretty.

Bolsover Castle - The Ruins & The Little Castle

A few years ago I was visiting Bolsover Castle, in Derbyshire, UK. It was Halloween, it was a special ghost tour and a small group of us walked around the grounds and castle armed only with our torches.

We heard stories of a grey lady who can sometimes be seen passing through an archway in the wall of the fountain garden.

Staff and visitors have reported feeling as though they have been touched or tickled and some have seen the ghostly figure of a small boy. Sometimes the sound of trotting horses and soldiers marching can be heard.

The main building is in ruins, I believe much was taken away when Bess of Hardwick moved to Hardwick Hall a few miles away. But the Little Castle is still standing and is very eerie to walk through at night. We were told that some visitors feel a tightness to their chest when passing through one room said to be haunted by the ghost of a housekeeper who lived there in the late 19th century who died of pneumonia.

When we reached the kitchen down at the lowest level we were told that a baby can sometimes be heard crying and the figure of a woman with a baby is seen regularly. It was rumoured that the baby was killed in the kitchens.

I don’t recall seeing or hearing anything unnatural, but it was an enjoyable spooky tour.

However if you stare at the black ” +” in the center, the moving dots turns to green. Now, concentrate on the black ” + ” in the center of the picture. After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see only a single green dot rotating.

It’s amazing how our brain works. There really is no green dot, and the pink ones really don’t disappear. This should be proof enough, we don’t always see what we think we see.
